Another record year in 2021

2021 was another record year for UCAT, with more candidates than ever before taking the test.  Over the summer of 2021 a total of 37,230 candidates sat the test, an increase of 9% from last year, and of over 26% from 2019.

The mean average total score for 2021 was 2499, which was in line with mean scores for previous years.  SJT results were slightly lower than previous years, with 14% of candidates achieving a Band 1 compared to 30% in 2020.  However, this percentage is more in line with SJT results from previous years.

As we move towards the 2022 test cycle, we wish all our 2021 candidates the best of luck with their applications to medical and dental school.
