Our summer Consortium Meeting was held last week on Friday 28th June 2019 at the Royal Over-seas League in London, a great location overlooking Green Park in the glorious sunshine.
The meeting was well attended, with a number of our new members joining us for the first time and contributing to the discussions held.
As well as an early update on the UCAT test for 2019 and events of the year so far, we were fortunate to have some great presentations during the day. These including a thought provoking presentation from Professor Sandra Nicholson (QMUL) on 'Diversifying the medical workforce and issues of widening participation', from our colleague, Ben Ruscoe from Pearson VUE on the advances in On-line Proctored Training, and also from Dr Kathryn Woolf (UCL) who gave an overview of the important work being done in the UK Medical Applicant Cohort Study (UKMACS).
We look forward to the next meeting in early December.
