UCAT Test Timings
We offer the following UCAT test timings:
UCAT (117 minutes 30 seconds)
The UCAT is the standard test. Each subtest is preceded by a separate timed instruction section.

The UCAT can also be delivered as an online proctored test (OnVUE UCAT).

- 20 minutes of pause-the-clock rest breaks.
UCAT with 25% extra test time (145 minutes 15 seconds)
This extended test is for candidates eligible for 25% extra test time. Each subtest is preceded by a separate timed instruction section.

- 25 minutes of pause-the-clock rest breaks.
UCAT with 50% extra test time (173 minutes)
This extended test is for candidates eligible for 50% extra test time. Each subtest is preceded by a separate timed instruction section.

Approval to sit an extended test
An application for extra test time and/or rest breaks must be approved by the UCAT Office before an extended test may be booked. Please refer to the information on Access Arrangements.
