Test Statistics 2025

In 2025, Abstract Reasoning is being withdrawn from the test. The information below illustrates how candidates would have performed in previous test cycles without an Abstract Reasoning score.

To help you make your university choices, you may want to understand how your test result relates to overall candidate performance. You may also be interested to know how your score compares with those used by universities in previous years.

Mean scores can shift between testing years and so direct comparison is not always possible. The information below provides you with decile distributions.


2025 Test Scores

Preliminary mean scores and deciles will be published in mid-September.

Final mean scores, deciles and percentiles will be published shortly after testing ends.

Cognitive Subtests 2019 - 2024

The scaled score range for each cognitive subtest is 300 – 900. Mean scaled scores for the cognitive subtests are below:
