UCAT Information
UCAT Bursaries
Candidates from low-income families may be entitled to a UCAT Bursary which covers the full cost of the test.
As a Scottish candidate you may be eligible if you are in receipt of Educational Maintenance Allowance or receive (at the full rate) Young / Independent Students’ Bursary award from the Student Awards Agency Scotland.

Scottish Test Centres
UCAT is delivered in Pearson VUE test centres throughout the UK and in 130+ countries worldwide. Pearson VUE test centres offering the UCAT are available throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Islands.

Applying to Medicine and Dentistry in Scotland

Widening Access
Support may be offered at each university for widening access applicants, including those from low income backgrounds.
