OnVUE UCAT Photo ID Policy

You must present photographic identification as detailed below which meets all requirements and is accepted for online proctored testing.

If you do not have the correct photo ID you will not be allowed to test and will lose your test fee.

If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian present at the start of your test to give consent to you being recorded. Your parent/guardian must present Permitted Photo ID as detailed below. You must also present Permitted Photo ID or a valid student ID (that includes full name and recognisable photo).

Permitted Photo ID

Permitted Photo ID must meet the following ID requirements AND be listed as Accepted Government-Issued ID below.

ID Requirements

Permitted Photo ID must:

  • be original (not a photocopy or digital ID).
  • be unexpired.
  • include a photograph which must be a true likeness.
  • include your name which exactly matches the name registered in your UCAT account (and appears in your appointment confirmation email). If it does not match, you must email Pearson VUE Customer Services at least 5 working days before your appointment to have this addressed. You must upload a photo of your ID to verify your request.

Accepted Government-Issued ID

  • Passport
  • Photo-card Driver's Licence (full or provisional)
  • Identification Card (national, state or province ID card)
  • Registration Card (green card or permanent resident/visa)

The following are not accepted under any circumstance:

  • Aadhaar Cards that do not meet OnVUE ID requirements.
  • ID from countries where OnVUE delivery is restricted: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Russia, Belarus and regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, Sevastopol, Crimea).
  • ID prohibited by law from being photocopied, digitised, or captured on camera.
