OnVUE UCAT Photo ID Policy
You must present one form of Permitted Photo ID that meets all the stated requirements and is accepted for online proctored testing.
If you do not have the correct photo ID you will not be allowed to test and will lose your test fee.
If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian present at the start of your test to give consent to you being recorded. Your parent/guardian must present Permitted Photo ID as detailed below. You must also present Permitted Photo ID or a valid student ID (that includes full name and recognisable photo).
OnVUE Permitted Photo ID
Permitted forms of Government-Issued Photo ID:
- Passport
- Plastic Photo-card Driver's Licence (full or provisional)
- National, State, Provincial, or EU ID Card
- Alien Registration Card (green card or permanent resident/visa)
Permitted Government-Issued Photo ID must also meet the following ID requirements to be accepted:
- be original (not a photocopy or digital ID).
- be unexpired.
- include a photograph which is a true likeness.
- include your name which exactly matches the name registered in your UCAT account (and appears in your appointment confirmation email). If it does not match, submit a Help Request via your UCAT account at least 5 working days before your test date to have this addressed. Upload a photo of your ID to verify the request.
The following are not accepted under any circumstance:
- ID from countries where OnVUE delivery is restricted: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus and regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, Sevastopol, Crimea).
- transport pass; library card; employer ID card; CitizenCard; Voter Authority Certificate/Electoral Identity Card; Proof of age card (e.g. Post Office PASS card, Young Scot National Entitlement Card).
- Aadhaar Cards that do not meet the Pearson Aadhaar ID Policy.
- Paper-based ID.
- ID prohibited by law from being photocopied, digitised, or captured on camera
